Option-1
You can verify the certificate, to check whether it meets the applicable edition / addenda of code. And if it meets the requirement, then you can recertify the material for latest edition / addenda.
Option-2
Plesae check, what was stated in the Purchase order & Ask the manufacturere to revise the MTC accordingly.

I have received a material test certificate confirming to ASME BPV
Code 2004 Edition 2006 Addenda. But the manufacturing date is
15.05.2008.
Please let me know about, From which date onwards ASME BPV Code 2007
was valid.
