It is permitted, but you have to make sure that you ground smooth the weld that you are going to weld on again

my company is manufacturing ASME U Stamp vessel,as per the drawing one of the nozzle location is very closed to the dish head circumferential seam,even Dish head welding & nozzle welding are touching together .

is it acceptable as per ASME Sec VIII div I .
