Hello Tran!

 

You did not mention the value that you are getting but only indicated that it is lesser than the lower limit. If all other tests are OK, then you need to discuss the matter with your customer for a concession so that it will be accepted.

Dear All,

 

Please help me in PMI testing for material ASTM A36 thickness over 20.0mm, the composition requirement of manganese is (0.8 – 1.2)%. But result of test is less than 0.8%. Other testings are accepted (tensile, bending, elongation).

 

Please advice me this result is accepted or not.

 

If not, please advice the solution.
