[MW:1498] RE: 1497] Re: 1482] ASME VIII

Kim,

Yes, if pulsation dampeners need to be U stamped then, certainly there may be extra charges applicable for the Stamping.

Dear Somesh,

Thank you for the information.

I need some clarification form you. For example, a pulsation dampener is always been design according to ASME VIII, but it won't come with 'U' Stamp inspection & Certificate unless is requested. There will be extra charges for the Stamping. Am I right?

Thanks n Regards,

Kim

Kim,

You can refer ASME Sec. VIII Div. 1 Cl. UG-115 through UG-120 for U
Stamp marking and report/ certificate requirement. For Pressure Relief
device you can get the requirements per Cl. UG-125 through UG-137 of
ASME Sec. VIII Div.1.

Regards

Somesh

Dear Sirs,

I am looking for the information about ASME VIII for the pressure
vassel, pulsation dampener & Pressure relief valve. Is ASME VIII have
any relation with 'U' Stamp? Does ASME VIII provide any coding /
certificate?

Thank's in advance.

Best Regards,
Kim
