CVN is mandatory, as indicated in red your email for these grades (EN 10025-2, S27JR, S355JR &J0)

Your project spec. is may not call for the requirement of CVN.

Road way            - S355JO

Crosshead           - S355JR & S275JR

Pipe track            - S355JR

 

As per European structural steel standard EN10025 , for JR grade, Longitudinal charpy V-notch impacts 27J @20 degrees and for JO grade, Longitudinal charpy V-notch impacts 27J @ 0 degrees.

 

We received materials mill certificates w/o impact test.

 

My question is whether impact is mandatory for above grades or any criteria of thickness as per EN10025? Please mention with reference codes.
