IF SAW IS SEMIAUTO(TRAVEL BY MANUAL), RESTRICTION IS ON WELDMETAL DEPOSITED.IN UR CASE 20mm MAX, BUT THERE IS NO LIMIT FOR BASE METAL THICKNESS

IF SAW IS  MACHINE/AUTOMATIC, THEN HE BECAME WELDING OPERATOR , HE HAS UNLIMIT FOR WELD METAL AND BASE METAL
