Hi all,
You may need to use all possible angle probes / normal beam probes just in case. Once you locate an indication (and confirm it to be a creack - simulation is recommended) use TOFD to size it pretty accurately.

Do the 45 degree transverses scanning on the weld face if it is smooth alternatively do the 45 degree scanning within max 15 degree angle with weld axis. Do all the scanning in clockwise and anti clockwise direction.
