Dear All,--I have the following issue concerning the wall thickness tolerance in API 5L.
As I understood, this tolerance is related to the manufactured pipe and not the steel plate (e.g. plates used for LSAW line pipes).
In other words, if the wall thickness of the required pipe is to be 14.3 mm, can we use a plate of 13.8 mm thickness to produce it or the thickness should be 14.3mm at least?
It would be very helpful if you can explain this case or advise me for some references.
