if trunnion support is there then you can proceed with your weld and followed by NDT
you can proceed with the weld but take care while welding that there should be gap in welding of support whenever it collide with elbow weld.
don't weld on elbow weld. skip the welding on elbow weld. other place proceed with joint and do the NDT.
