This is very silly. Google is the most unreliable source. The rightway to know is

1. Get the right reference of codes n standards.

2. Try to get the latest edition n knowledge.

3. Seek interpretations of standards from persons with ready reference experience n knowledge.

Google is not the first to go. It need not be correct.

Develop a scientific attitude n read codes n standards.

Be a good engineer.

I am surprised why people do not try google first. It is faster, easier and more efficient for these kind of questions.

For example, in your case, I just typed "valve closure test" on google for you.

this is the result page which gives you a lot of options and information.

If you did not find the answer there, then send your question to the group.

Or another example, Somebody earlier asked "how to qualify a WPS"...!!!

These kind of general questions could better be answered by searching online.
