I agree with Pandithan Sir.

AS P Number and F number are essential variables for welder qualification and not A number. QW 423 provides exception for P-Number allowing both the ranges and F Number is same for SS & DSS.

AS per ASME Sec.iX it is permissible to use SS welder on DSS. Only thing in Dss welding Oxygen content in the purging gas has to be monitored and the welder educated on the same.
