RE: [MW:26872] Welder qualification

Hi,

As per QW 403.18 / QW 423. 1 – if you take qualification on P no 1 to P no 1, then the welder will be qualified for p no 1 to P. no 15F, 34, and 41 to 49

You can take the qualification on P no 1- no problem, it is acceptable.

However for P no 1 base material,  your consumable should be F43 for welder qualification, and if any F No changes then you have to see the QW 430 for the same for the permissible…

Hope it is clear to you.
