Dear Friends
A heat exchanger is being fabricated as per ASME Sec VIII Div.1.
Service Temp is @ 480 degree C.
Tubes material is SA 213 T11 - 1Cr,0.5Mo.
Tube sheet material is SB 409 (Alloy 800)- 33Ni, 42Fe,21Cr UNS No. N08800.
We have selected TIG filler as ER NiCr-3 for the tube to tubesheet joint.
Is the selection of filler metal satisfactory or any better alternative ?
Regards
