[MW:22434] Clad 625 - Minimum number of layers

Hi All,

If a cladding on C-Mn steel is qualified for 2-layers with minimum thickness of 3mm(Chemical Analysis : FE content meets the requirement of “FE 5” at 3mm from fusion line), is this qualification, valid for production cladding where minimum 3layer is requirement(as per client specification)?

The required clad thickness to be achieved on production cladding is 5mm as minimum with 3 layer.

Please provide your view whether the 2 layer cladding qualification is suitable to perform 3 layer clad.

Best regards,
Vijay Tayade
