[MW:14437] BACKING RING NEED BACK GAS PURGING

Dears,

          For STAINLESS STEEL  butt welding ,gas purging is need with backing ring?

          We did a PQR with gas backing without backing ring,but in WPS  can we use backing ring without gas backing (purging)?

          i expecting ur valuable comments with any supporting documents.
