Re: [MW:11262] RE: 11202] Welding consumable for CD3Mn

Dear All,
     In a vessel we used SA 516 Gr. 70 Plate for Dished ends (12 Thk).
Chemical Analysis (Lab Tested) of Plate (values) observed are,
 
 Chromium          (0.018       Req. 0.34 max) ,
 Nickel                 (0.021       Req. 0.43 max),
 Molybdenum      (0.008       Req. 0.13 max),
 Copper               (0.013       Req. 0.43 max).
 Vanadium          ( Nil
 Niobium              ( Nil
 Titanium             ( Nil
 
     Our customer is not accepting the material Since the above elements are much lesser than the specified.
We explained 1) since as per spec.only maximum values are specified it is acceptable.
                     2)  CE is within limit.
           But he is not accepting the same.
 
What to do ? Please, help me.
