Dear prafull,

ASME IX and API both are diff. in term of application.

asme for PV and API for pipe line.

if you aer working on pipe line project 31.5 and 31.8 u shuld refer
API for WPS and PQR etc...welding details..

and if u wrokin in PV then asme IX for WPS/PQR etc...

i hope thi would clear.
