[MW:11250] Re: Heat Treatment information in MTC for ASTM A53B pipe

Dear qcqcmpm,

As per ASTM A53B-4.3 Heat treatment required but this requirement you
have to put in to your TDC(technical delivery condition).

Refer 3.1.13 and 3.1.11

if purchaser already mentioned with Heat treatment in TDC then it is
NCR. other wise based on its application of pipe end user has to PWHT
after welding with applicable construction code.

we had similar problems recently.
