No it can not. Please refer to QW-461.9 for BOILER AND PRESSURE VESSEL code and Table 4.9 for ASW D11.

I suggest you to qualify welder in 6G position.

Dear Sir,

Can we qualify welderin single test coupon by root in 3F position and other passes by 4F position to qualifyall position. Testcoupon size is 12mm thk and 300mm long.

Please give reference also.

Our client spec states only the requirements for induction bending and would like to know your opinion on the cold bend inspection requirements.
