Dear ALL,

We are manufacturing vessel which is claded with 316L and on the dish end of material SA516-70 and nozzles welded in double bevel weld joint. when completed one side of welding. We did carbon arc gouging and done magnetic particle test and we found cracks at toe of welding on side of 316L nozzle side. We used 309L-16 electrode. The wall thickness of nozzle is around 25 to 30mm and dish end material SA516-70. I would like to know what procedure to be used for repairing the crack and is it we have change the electrode to E312-16. Kindly advice or if any technique of welding to repair and do complete

shamesh
