Dear Ramesh Barot,

 

Yes. As per ASME Sec IX 2010 edition with reference to the following

 

Refer list of changes and record number 08-1330 along with

 

Refer QW 142, 143 , QW-191.2.1 & QW-302.2

 

It states UT can be conducted on test welds in material ½ “ (13mm) thick or greater

It shall be done with written procedure verified by the manufacturer to be in compliance with T-150 of sec V ( which states about a written procedure and demonstration…)
