Hang on guys !
Please read the question put up by kumar carefully.
He needs to know the acceptance criteria to be followed during welder and welding qualification for mechanical tests and VE.
The answer is definately ASME Sec IX.
If impact test is also required then he has to refer to Sec VIII. or his design code.

For qualification of welders & welding operators follow only ASME sec IX acceptance, and more over qualification test are being given with ref to qualified WPS, and no impqct for welders, it is only for procedures
Dear Members, ur active participation is highly appriciated and at the same time , request members to give almost correct answers otherwise it will mislead
