Please do annealing instead of normalising.

Dear All,I wanted to reduce the hardness of EN 24 material. For that I employed Normalising on the material.But the hardness increased instead of reducing.Can U please suggest me the reasons for this and how to reduce the hardness of the material.Thanks & Regards,Priyanka Deshmukh.--
