Hi,

Heat Input is goint to be the key factor in this case, which would be less for GTAW.
so for GTAW, there would be more UTS.

Due to limited information, this is only thing i can predict, else more info like heat treated condition and weld joint, would be needed.

             300 mm Length x 300 mm Width
    Process: SMAW
    Consumable: E7018

Which test piece have more UTS in these two processes.
