Re: [MW:8467] heat treatment

Dear Amit,
                 Please refer ASM Volume 4 for heat treating SS304. As any mistake can make the steel lose it's properties and there can be issues like carbide precipitation and IGC.
Annealing:1010-1120°C

i want to heat treat the SS304 and German steel weldments.
can anyone suggest the temperature of heat treatment such as annealing and quenching and tempering.
