[MW:2731] Wall thickness according to ASME B31.4

Dear all,
            i have querry regarding wall thickness calculation in accordance with ASME B31.4, please reply on below querry.
 
Querry: According to paragraph 404.1.2, wall thickness of streight pipe under internal pressure formula shows
1) t=PD/2S
2) t=PD/20S
Which formula to be considered for wall thickness calculation of pipe in pipeline?
In which case formula varies?
 
I know this querry is not regarding the welding, then also anybody know this can reply.
