Mr Fly Yalung,
Normally this kind of construction installed in a pit (Flange pits).
If the situation/circumstances does not allow to install inside a pit & must be buried, you can protect the flange with suitable corrossion protection system before backfilling.
One of such corrosion protection system is Stopaq FN 4100, which is manufactured & supplied by Stopaq Europe.

Dear Gentlemen,
Good day to everyone. I have one dilema regarding some fittings to be welded to a pipe and will be buried 1.5 meter below grade surface. Is this right thing to done? If correct what is the most cost effective protection that we can do to protect the buried fittings(example- Flanges).
