[MW:1297] Re: effect of heat input

hi dear
according to the type of steel,i suggest that you select a optimum h.i until the coarse grain zone retain low & solution carbide decrease.the optimum h.i depends to the type of process(heat intensity)&thickness.

Subject: [MW:1296] effect of heat input

Dear friends ,
I want know about the effect of heat input on notch property of LAS.
especially on Cr-Mo-V steel weld.
so plz let me know that any one have information about it or any one have done some experimental work on it,
what is max heat input that can be applied to the LAS(Cr-Mo-V) to get required impact property as per ASME.
thank you
