Being a B.E. Mech person and having around 16 Years of Welding Engr Experience, what are the added advantages for me in future, when I do this AM-IIW. 

Could you please share your view , as you are doing this course.

Cranfield university runs a distance education MSc in welding engineering. The OU also runs a programme, which gives you credit towards IWE/ EWE. if interested I can post details including contacts with both programmes.
