Subject: [MW:7504] Low Alloy Carbon Steel Filler material needed
Dear All,
I am looking for a low alloy carbon steel filler material to weld materials based on ASTM 707 L3 Class 3. I need to meet -50°F with an average of 44 foot pounds. The base materials (F65 - X65 type joint design) will also need to meet a minimum of 60 YS and NACE requirements (< 250 HV10). I was wondering if anyone had data to support a successful filler material/s as one of our candidates in developing a successful PQR. Thanks in advance.
Best Regards,
Michael H. Henry
Welding Engineer
