[MW:7399] Bubble test (piping)

Hello my friends,

I consulted the ASME B31.3 code "vent hole" for reinforcement and I
found this article 328.5.4 connections ( g ) and ( h ) page 64
edition 2008.


G) Reinforcing pads and saddles shall have has good made with the
parts to which they are attached. In wind hole shall be provided at
the side (not at the crotch) of any pad now saddle to reveal leakage
in the weld between branch and run and to allow venting during welding
and heat treatment. In pad now saddle may be made in more than one
piece yew joints golden between pieces have strength equivalent to pad
saddle relative(parent) metal, and each piece has yew has wind hole.

H) Examination and any necessary repairs of the completed weld between
branch and run sh has pad now saddle.
