[MW:7368] Material for Boiler Diffuser (Impellers)

Dear All,

We have in our facility, 3 boilers. All of them have dual combustion
burners.
These boilers were manufactured by Babcock and Wilcox in 1962 and much
of the paperwork regarding its construction and materials is now no
longer available either to us or somewhere else.
Coming back to the burners, diffuser plates (or impellers) are used
for mixing and having an evenly distributed flame. The material for
these plates in drawings is (HR -3), I do not understand what it
means. The maintenance department had been using cast iron but it
doesnt hold long enough.
Please, if you know, share the meaning of the term H.R.3 or you might
also indicate subsitute castable material.

Thanks and Regards,

Muhammad Ali
