It has raised me a doubt based on the Client comments, hence requesting for the clarification form Specialist of the below points as stated in the ASTM A6/A6M.
1) According to the table B & Table C from ASTM A6/ A6M (Refer attached Snap Shot of the Page). With Reference to the attached MTC Grade A572 Gr50, Client has Comment Required 2 Tensile test according to ASTM A6/A6M. Hence Commented and Rejected the MTC. Please kindly explain about the Validity of the Comment.
Scenario 1 My Interpretation of standard as per ASTM A6/ A6M
2) According to the Table B: As per my understanding is, when the Manufacturer Mill if rolling two separate Thickness (Example: 12MM plate and 50 mm Plate) form the Same Heat Number irrelevant to batch number / Plate Number. Then we need to have 1 tensile test for each one. (Example: 12MM plate one sample tensile test will be taken and need to be reported in the MTC of that Result and Other 50MM plate one sample tensile test will be taken and need to be reported in MTC, hence here total only 2 No tensile is conducted for each one thickness).
As per my understanding is, when the Manufacturer Mill if rolling only 12mm Thickness (Example: 12MM plate) form the one Heat Number irrelevant to batch number / Plate Number. Then we need to have 1 tensile test for that one. (Example: 12MM plate one sample tensile test and need to be reported in MTC, hence here total only 1 No tensile is conducted for that one thickness).

As per client understanding is, when the Manufacturer Mill if rolling only 12mm Thickness (Example: 12MM plate) form the one Heat Number irrelevant to batch number / Plate Number. Then we need to have 2 tensile test for that one heat Number. (Example: 12MM plate 2 sample tensile test and need to be reported in MTC, hence here total only 2 No tensile is conducted for that one thickness).
