Dear Experts
-- Attached below snap shot for reference.
As per QW-216.4 chemical analysis nominally matching the weld deposit chemical analysis may be substituted to qualify the PQR . Is mentioned
So during testing chemical analysis for Hard-facing overlay welding at 1.6mm location, we have got following chemistry C, Si, Mn, Cr, Mo, Ni, W, Fe, Co Content during testing with certain limits. During final drafting of WPS I have mentioned the nominal chemical composition as mentioned in the QW-216.4 with chemistry of Co,Cr,W,C in WPS.
Now third party agency during final review they are telling to remove the chemical content apart from the WPS mentioned,If WPS mentioned with Co,Cr,W,C then i should mention only same chemistry in PQR.
Is that acceptable? I have argued several points that what is tested only I have put in the PQR and Nominal chemical content which is essential is mentioned in the WPS. Please comment your view
I have attached code requirements what is defined, please look into it and comment your view. My question is why should i remove the chemical content during tested in PQR with only chemistry mentioned in the WPS?
