At the below temperature it should pass. Is your end product will be picked and passivated?? If yes, pls do the picking and passivation of test sample, it should pass.

Most of the tests fail also due to improper sample preparation or wrong dimensions during calculation of weight loss. Ask for a retest for 2 samples.

Testing is done as per ASTM G48

Can any one tell me why this failure occured, what could be the reason?
