[MW:25241] Regarding liner plate to chute plugs welding

Dear sir,

We are installing chute in material handling work.

My query is that,  liner plate to chute plug welding is allow or not?.

Generally, liner are replaceable, i.e. in bolting ( chute to liner).
So if we plug weld it, it not possible to replace easily.

So, plug welding allow, then where and why ? ( in terms of function).
