Dear Ahishek,
Forced air cooling will not serve your purpose. Since you r doing an ID overlay say for a 2" dia pipe then forced air cooling will not at all help. We use a jacket which is made to the OD of the Pipe with and inlet and an outlet to it. Industrial coolant is used and it passes through this jacket continuously. The ID of the jacket is wound with and copper windings since being a good conductor of heat. This will help you in maintaining the interpass temp. We use this technique even though it might be primitive.
regards
