[MW:23139] RE: 23138] Welding of Had field steel

Hi Hrushikesh.

Hadfield or Austenitic Manganese steels are very specific to few good foundries.Welding of this grade of steel (mostly casting) requires specific skill, welding electrode selection and control of welding parameters. Here're some general guidelines on welding of this alloy. What grade Hadfield steel is being welded? what's the section thickness involved. These  are some of the key variables in  successful welding of this grade of steel.

You may contact these manufacturers for welding consumables and further info.

Thanks.
