By the way you describe it may be that this is due to the contribution they are using, in many cases the contributions bring a copper coating, as this helps the electrical conductivity, it is very common to see this situation in fillet welds made with the GMAW process, the welding surface like waste oil or honey appreciated, "drops" are seen along the steak, but the picture that you are sending is not very clear, has no HD.

Kindly refer the attached job of eco coil of Boiler in tube to tube joint welding application.

During GTAW welding with ER70S-2 grade filler wire we have noticed liquid type impurities on weld bead.

Why such type of defects are coming?

Is it product defect or welding process defect?

Please support & share your views to move in right direction.
