Re: [MW:11406] Painting on joints prior to hydrotest


Dear All....

As per Many of Our frnds , The Pipe shouldnt be painted before Hydrotest.... Then why is that we allow HDPE Coating of Pipe Line Joints, completely  bury the Pipe and do Hydro-test.

I know that API 1104 is being followed there...but iam asking in terms of Basic logic.
