Hi, You are correct.You can explain to your customer that these elements are as per SA20 - Table-1 and Table-2. You can show the SA20 limits on elements to the customer.He should accept that.

Dear All, In a vessel we used SA 516 Gr. 70 Plate for Dished ends (12 Thk). Chemical Analysis (Lab Tested) of Plate (values) observed are, Chromium (0.018 Req. 0.34 max) , Nickel (0.021 Req. 0.43 max), Molybdenum (0.008 Req. 0.13 max), Copper (0.013 Req. 0.43 max). Vanadium ( Nil Niobium ( Nil Titanium ( Nil Our customer is not accepting the material Since the above elements are much lesser than the specified. We explained 1) since as per spec.only maximum values are specified it is acceptable. 2) CE is within limit. But he is not accepting the same. What to do ? Please, help me.
