In the context of valve pressure test API 6D calls for max. of 30ppm
chloride for SS and duplex. I do not remember the claus. Pl. have a
look of the std. At site the piping hydrotest chloride limitation is
defined in a API RP standard which I am not able to recollect now.
Moreover having difficulty in achieving such low limits calls for
relaxation at site overruling such std requirement. 50ppm in such case
is a limit accepted by most contractors and clients.
