[MW:3311] RE: 3308] Information on superduplex welding

Welding should be undertaken within the heat input range of 0.2-1.5 kJ/mm and with an interpass temperature of 150°C (300°F) maximum. Preheating or post-weld heat treatment is not necessary.
For gas-shielded arc welding use ER2594, and for manual metal-arc welding the covered electrode E2594.

Location, orientation of CVN impact test coupon, refer UG 84(c) – one set on HAZ and one set on weld, unless you have contractual requirement if any additional

Ferrite, PREN (if you need PREN an addition of 2% N max in shielding gas will give good results) and other corrosion tests, if required by contract

Hi!
Can anyone please guide me in welding of super duplex stainless steels UNS S32750.Or is it possible i can get a sample WPS.Also please let me know what all test are required to qualify PQR as Per ASME Sec IX:
1)Apart from tensile testing, bend testing
Coupons thickness :16 Inch Sch 40 S (9.56 mm)
Process:GTAW & SMAW

MDMT: -29 degrees to 170 degree C
Preheat temp?
Max.Interpass temp?
Sour service
Is ferritic test required?
PWHT?
Impact test:Please advise the locations of impact:Is HAZ/WCL/FL for the whole process is required or is it required seperately for Gtaw & SMAW process.

Appreciate if anyone could reply to me at the earliest.
