Subject: [MW:2243] Corrosion in HAZ

I want to know if we weld the material which have below 0.5% Ni with the electrode that contain near about 3% Ni , is there any problem regarding the corrosion in that material . I heard in this case we make the electrolit that in weld metal(Cathod) we have high resistance compare HAZ & corrosion will be more in HAZ & base metal. I want toknow is this idea correct or not.

Best Regard
