Sadique,

Refer attached article. For Nanhai we used Gaussmeter to check residual
magnetic field in Pumps as Client observed that during Pump
suction/discharge pipe welding, Flanges were bolted to pump flanges.

Hello all of you.
I have one query and may hope the answer from expert member from field.
On our site, the welder did the welding of pipe while the pipe flange
was bolted to pump.so that time small spark occured between the flange
and the noise enclosure i.e cover of pump as some paint removed from
edge of enclosure which was in direct contact with flange that time.
So my question is can it affect the bearing of pump as pump base is
already grounded.
Regards
Sadique
