For this Inner dimension (4300mm), if we  target %0,25. Is that mean about +-102mm ?

Dear Anil

 

Please refer UG80 of Sec VIII Div 1 You can have 1% ovality is acceptable but It is case to case basis i.e Higher the Dia , it should be kept less than 0.5% even the acceptable tolerance is high b) higher ovality will cause more offset in weld seam

ii) In case of heat exchanger , You can not afford to accept higher ovality . You should target less than 0.25% ,Higher ovality will give problem in tube bundle insertion.
