Dear Mr. Prasad,

Automatic Girth welder by Lincoln is probably the best in business. Single or double head welder will be your choice. With double head welding machine we used to supply backing flux to reduce the oxidation on other side in turn eliminate back gouging but still needed to do back grinding where no penetration observed.

It is fine if you are buying FCAW welding machine for shop built tank vertical welds but for site constructed tanks FCAW is very difficult to succeed it will be better to go for electro gas welding for vertical welds.
