Is tempering bead weld required /used for welding of 13 Cr martensitic stainless steel?
I am assuming it is not used for duplex and super duplex material as the main function of tempering bead is to control the hardness in HAZ, by reducing the cooling rate. This is not done done in the said material as austenite remains stable. Please comment
