Re: [MW:29462] Pressure Relief Valve in Hydrotest

Relief valve is preferable in any pr vessel hydrotest. It is not mandatory. But if you exceed the hydrotest pr, designer has to recalculate and confirm that the pr is acceptable. Or else the vessel is liable for rejection .
