Can we add the value of geometric unsharpness to the discountinuity size acceptability value for accepting a discontinuity. 

Governing codes: 
ASME BPVC Sec V & ASME B 31.3

Example. 

Say Up to 2mm porosity is acceptable as per the code.

We have established the geometric unsharpness value by procedure qualification of the technique and observed as 0.2

My question is, can we accept a porosity of 2.4mm by adding (0.2x 2times Ug for both the sides of the discountiuity) the geometric unsharpness to the acceptability value of 2mm.

Please advise with code references or code interpretations.
